My Goals for Second Quarter 2015

I started 2015 by launching this new blog, but I never really got around to listing down my goals for this year. I’m not [yet] big on establishing long-term goals (except for the common ones like travel the world, succeed in my career, have my own family — I’m so original) maybe because I’m fickle. And I know this is something I need to work on. But for now, here are my short-term goals (writing and reading), which I’m aiming to accomplish by end of this quarter (and that’s also the end of the first half of 2015). Blog As I have already mentioned, this blog was launched at the start of this year. I did not import the posts from my old blog because I wanted a clean slate (though I did rewrite/republish some posts). I have a lot of backlogs from last year, and I would like to finish working on them all as soon as possible. Life as of Late #001

I know it’s still a few days into the year to start talking about life lately, and I don’t wanna talk about petty things from last year [yet], but let me start this anyway. If you’re asking why I’m fancying up the title instead of the more common “life lately”, it’s just that I’m trying to veer away from the usual. :) I moved to this new online home at the start of the year. I spent quite some time scouting for a pretty theme, and I finally found this one (though this was not my first choice, but the other one was more expensive and had more functions than I would actually use). Unfortunately, there comes a disadvantage when you use a really nice theme — you’re not gonna be the only one. I know I don’t have the right to complain because I’m just a consumer and the theme is available for everyone, but I also know I’m not the only one who’s irked about the idea of having another blog look the same as yours, …
